Personality;

If you want to find Lucinda at her best then wait for midnight, because of her job she is largely nocturnal, though
she trudges through most of the daylight hours with a gruff acceptance. A tough love kind of person don't expect
Lucinda to help you out in a situation she thinks you can handle. Only if she knows you can't handle it will she
intervene.

Fueled by caffeine and nicotine she has her moments, but still has the best interests of Astria at heart.
Though she is a woman of few words she is a leader who can push those around her to be the best they can be.
Her personal mantra is 'Don't speak unless you've got something important to say' and she follows it to a tee. If
you see her mouth begin to open you better be quiet and pay attention, she's not to fond of repeating herself.
Not that it's typically a problem, her booming gravelly voice can carry far and long when she wants to be heard.

Though sociable in her own way Lucinda has always had problems connecting to others at a level of 'good friends'
or above. She's a mentor/role model, not your 'bff'. It's also good to note that she also takes the gym leader oath
of "It isn't always your fault, but it's always your responsibility" deadly serious taking it upon herself to eradicate
the ghost infestation that plagues the city.



Backstory;

Originally from Evastus Lucinda was one of the best psychics of the city. Growing up Lucinda never had a normal childhood
training with her Drowzee, Queen, rather than make friends and acquaintances with others. And while this lack of peer
growth made her quiet it made her psychic abilities vastly multiply through the use of teachers and experiments. When the
effect of the spirit towers first started to be explored she was sent to Villius to help the non-Pokémon spirits find their way
to either move on or transport them to the spirit tower. It was during these first months that she discovered her aptitude
for training and controlling ghost type Pokémon, as well as her natural capacity to lead aided by her psychic abilities.

During her stay in the ghost city she fell in love, and later married one of the local men causing her to stay in Villius rather than
returning to Evastus as she originally planned. With the birth of her daughter Lucinda threw herself even more into her work
trying to rid the city of its unwanted residents and started working part time at the ghost gym. Advising the gym leader
directly she helped organize a ghost patrol made up of herself and the other gym trainers.

The four worked in shifts patrolling the streets keeping malevolent entities from causing too much harm and helping peaceful
ones to pass on. Eventually the elderly gym leader himself passed away and though his spirit seemed to be forcefully bound
to the gym eventually Lucinda was able to help him pass on, and was named the new gym leader. Still Lucinda felt that the
peoples safety was more important than the gym and has had it closed using the space as a ghost hunting station and safe
place from any evil spirits.

Her commitment for Astria and its people unfortunately left little room for time with her family and shortly after becoming the
gym leader her husband divorced her taking their 10 year old daughter with him. Lucinda has barely seemed to notice the
difference, or if she has she hasn't said anything yet. Almost always on her feet chasing a spirit or helping patrol at night
making sure no in-experienced trainers or civilians are out when the ghosts powers are at their highest. One of the problems
she has found most troubling is that all residents, human and Pokémon, seem to be bound to the city upon their deaths
whether natural or not, causing much anguish to the families of Villius as they see their dearly departed continue to walk
the city streets.



Trivia;

A Chain smoker more
often than not Lucinda will have a cigarette in her hand

After countless all-nighters she has developed insomnia,
typically sleeping only 1-2 hours a day

Though they are divorced Lucinda still wears her wedding
ring under her glove as well as keeping her married name

All of Lucinda's Pokémon are named after chess pieces, and
will often give her commands in the form of a move in chess. They will also
move in the same patterns. Ex. King is slow, often staying at the back lines,
he will only ever move short distances

She is a great problem solver working out moves and battle strategies
several moves ahead, and often
accounting for variation in an opponent's moves

Part of Lucinda's astounding memory is her psycic connection to Queen
who made a sort of 'dream house' that Lucinda can access through meditation
holding many facts and other valuable information.





Pokemon:



Knight | Driftblim | Adamant | Unburden | Male | Air Balloon

Knight is mostly used as transportation for Lucinda giving
her a clear unobstructed view of any situation so that she can make decisions
without being hindered by obstacles on the ground. He is stubborn and idealistic
only listening to Lucinda and King. He hates to be hurt and is more than happy
to be Lucinda's mode of transport if it keeps him out of harms way.

He is the weakest on the team and flies Lucinda around by wrapping his arms
around Lucinda's torso.



Pawn | Frosslass | Lonely | Snow Cloak | Female | Nevermeltice

Just because her name is Pawn doesn't mean this Froslass is
weak. This dynamo will keep fighting until she passes out, retreat and
surrender are not words in her vocabulary. Possibly the strongest
member in the team she prefers close range attacks.

Though strong and capable Pawn often feels inferior to the other
team members and will shut them out to appear stronger or
more put together. Still, there is nothing she loves more than
a hug. Not that she'd say so of course.



Bishop | Mismagius | Naive | Levitate | Male | Spell Tag

Bishop is the newest and youngest member of the team, his
small and non solid form allows him to get into places the rest of the team
cannot and does it without being seen.

Though he can be scared easily he loves to help and will try and put on
a brave face in front of the others. He is the only one in the team that
sometimes messes up Lucinda's commands as he is not yet used to them.
When he is frightened he turns invisible.



Queen | Hypno | Quiet | Insomnia | Female | Twisted Spoon

Queen was Lucinda's first Pokémon and they retain the
tightest bond among the team. She is also used for her psychic powers to help
capture and trap spirits. Occasionally she will use her sleep powers to help
Lucinda get to sleep.

Almost like the Pokemon version of Lucinda the two have very similar personalities
much of which is influenced by their long held psychic connection linking their
minds together. The two sometimes work as a processing unit in a sense,
Lucinda will give a list of information to Queen who will lock it in her 'dream house'
for Lucinda to later come in and find.



Rook | Chandulure | Hasty | Flame Body | Male | Grip Claw

Rook is a quick tempered Pokémon he often is seen protecting
his mate King. He will often over power his attacks whenever his mood is heightened
causing more damage than wanted or scaring away ghosts. Whenever he can
he will preform castling.



King | Jellicent | Quirky | Cursed Body | Male | Mystic Water

King though eccentric is the glue that keeps Lucinda's team
together. He is the only one that can curb Rooks hot temper and can often be
seen around him. King never fights up close preferring to use long range attacks.
